Smell My Hands Grandma!

Like many companies, here at Valentte we actively encourage our customers to write reviews. I read every one that is submitted. So far, we have 865 and counting! Most are good, a few bad. My favourite ones share a story about how Valentte products have impacted a customer’s life. Recently we received one that tickled me. Pat Steward reviewed our Lemongrass and Rosemary Handwash.

“I discovered Valentte quite by accident, but I truly love your products and brought ‘Home’ gift boxes for my daughter and daughter in law to be for Christmas so they could discover your beautiful products. My 4-year-old grandson loves the smell of the Lemongrass and Rosemary handwash and keeps asking me to smell his hands!! You will have a customer for life now. Thank you”

We can all picture her 4-year old grandson, with his enthusiastic “smell my hands, Grandma!”. What a joy.

Scents trigger such powerful emotions in us. I see this kind of reaction played out frequently on our stand at shows. Customers have strong reactions, in positive and negative ways to the scents in our range.

Our scents, by design, are not middle of the road. We prefer you to have a love-hate relationship with them. “ummmm, It’s OK”, is not the reaction we want you to feel when smelling one of our scents. We don’t expect you to love everyone but hope you will fall madly in love with two or three!

So, I would like to offer you additional peace of mind when shopping with us.

If you ever try a new scent and decide it’s not for you. Don’t be shy. Don’t suffer in silence. Get in touch, let us know you don’t like it and we will replace it for you free of charge. No quibbles.

Hi Luke and all, in October 2018, I tripped up stairs when out(no I wasnt drunk). Hit the handrsil sidewards and bradly fractured my humerus. Nearly five months on and still healing, I have had some down days. However what lifts my spirit is the Lemongrass and Rosemary diffuser, that I smell as I enter my home. I have since bought the room spray, hand soap and now moistiriser. My daughter has become a fan too.

      Hi Tina
Ouch! That must have been very painful. Time drags so much when you are waiting for your body to heal. I’m glad the lemongrass scent has given you a boost. The lovely thing about using essential oils to scent our products is that the aromatherapy properties work day in, day out to boost your mood and well being. Thanks for taking the time to share your story. Hope the arm mends soon.
      Luke x
