Justina and I have started shooting videos to use for Instagram, promotions, and Facebook ads. It’s a nervy process with both of us well outside our comfort zones. We have the lovely Bea, who recently joined team Valentte, to record and edit the videos. We both recognise how important video is for marketing, but this doesn’t make it any easier. We are pushing ourselves to record something each day, thinking that practice and persistence will lead to the improvement we desire.
We are both complete perfectionists with OCD, so releasing a video that we know could be better is super challenging. It’s one of those life-learning moments when the only solution is to “not think too much” and “just keep creating.” The quality will come—or so we hope!
